Course Overview
The Accounting degree course is an undergraduate programme of Crawford University,. It provides students with the knowledge of accounting, bookkeeping, auditing, financial management, and other skills needed to work in this financial sector. During the four-year period of the degree programme, the students will be able to acquire in-depth understanding of auditing techniques, financial analysis, and laws governing these within organisations. Undergraduates will also learn the use of choice accounting applications and software.

Accreditation
Accounting programmes in Crawford University is fully accredited by the NUC. The programme is also accredited by the Institute Of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), as well as Association of Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) and Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN).
Admission Requirements
Five (5) O’ Level Credit passes including:-
English Language, Mathematics, Accounting and any other two from Economics, Business Methods, Commerce, Government, CRK, Geography and Statistics obtained from WAEC, NECO, GCE and NABTEB.
Direct Entry
At least two A’ level passes (not less than grade ‘C’) including Economics/Accounting and at least one of Mathematics, Business Management, Economics/Accounting, Statistics, Geography and Government obtained from WAEC, GCE, IJMB, JUPEB and NABTEB.
Crawford University will also accept:-

Duration
Duration of the programme shall be for 4 academic sessions and for 3 academic sessions for Direct Entry candidates.
Tuition
Tuition and fees per session is Four Hundred and Sixty-Eight Thousand Naira only (N468,000.00).
Kindly note that all matters concerning finance, bills, scholarship and all such should be referred to the Bursary Department of Crawford University.
Programmes
The Department of Accounting and Finance runs two programmes. Both programmes are fully accredited by the National University Commission (NUC).
Postgraduate Programmes
Aside Undergraduate programme in Accounting, the Accounting Finance department of Crawford University also runs fully accredited higher degree programmes in Accounting.
