INDUCTION AND CONFERMENT OF HONOUR AS A FELLOW OF INSTITUTE OF POLICY MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT (FIPMLD)

On March 23, 2024, the prestigious Institute of Policy and Leadership Development (IPMLD) held a landmark induction ceremony at the Continental Suites in Abeokuta, Ogun State. The event saw the conferment of distinguished honours and formal induction as FIPMLD of several illustrious professionals from across institutions and parastatals into the elite ranks of IPMLD, Africa’s foremost body dedicated to policy administration, management and leadership development.

Among the renowned inductees was Professor Reuben Jiya Kolo, FfS, the esteemed Vice Chancellor of Crawford University, Igbesa, Ogun State, whose academic brilliance and visionary leadership have made him an exemplar in the Nigerian higher education sphere.

The induction ceremony commenced with an insightful lecture delivered by IPMLD’s esteemed Patron, Rt. Ven. Prof. Olajire Abiola Bamisaye, a distinguished Professor of Political Science. Prof. Bamisaye’s thought-provoking lecture, titled “Achieving Improved Productivity through Excellent Leadership and Good Policy Management,” expounded on the pivotal role that exemplary leadership and adroit policy management play in unlocking elevated productivity levels across both the private and public sectors.

In his address, Prof. Bamisaye underscored, “We have the ability to improve productivity through excellent leadership and good policy management”.
