The Deputy Vice - Chancellor (DVC) assists the Vice-Chancellor of this young but dynamic University in the administration of the broad area of academic affairs as well as some non-academic functions, including the following: Academic Planning, Student Registration, Teaching, Administration, Examinations, Research Management, Budget preparation, Fleet administration, Policy making on internally Generated Revenue. The DVC is part of the management team that is working assiduously to insure that the vision of the University (producing graduates with balanced education) is achieved. Based on our motto:knowledge with godliness, we emphasize not only the education of the mind and body but also the heart and spirit. Stress is laid on the reflection of our above vision and motto in both our teaching and research processes to assure the best products. By designation, the DVC also serves as the Chairman of Academic Programme Committee, Accreditation and Quality Assurance Committee, Conference and Research Grants committee, Budget Preparation Committee, Consultancy and Revenue Generating Committee, Capital Project Monitoring Committee and Students Welfare Committee Prof Patrick Onuwa Yalokwu.
