Candidates are required to have a minimum of five (5) credits in English Language, Mathematics, and any other three (3) relevant subjects obtained at not more than two (2) sittings at the SSCE/WASCE,GCE /NECO or NABTECH. - (a) UTME: : Five (5) ‘O’Level credits to include English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two from Business Methods, Commerce, Government and Geography.
- (b) Special considerations (Waiver): Diploma in Accounting, Finance or Administration of approved/recognized institutions with upper credit or distinction, plus five GCE ‘O’Level credits including English Language, Mathematics and Economics may be considered.
- (c) UTME Subjects: English Language, Economics, Mathematics and any other Social Science subject.

JUPEB is a National Examination body saddled with the responsibility of conducting examinations for students, who have undergone approved subject combinations and are seeking Direct Entry admissions into Nigerian and partnering foreign tertiary institutions.The Crawford University JUPEB-Foundation programme is designed for those prospective students who have the minimum requirement of 5 credits but failed to meet up the JAMB cut-off marks or did not sit for the JAMB examination. This programme is also designed for Diploma Holders who do not have the minimum grade for Direct Entry admission into the University but seek an Undergraduate programme.
How Does it Run?
JUPEB-Foundation programme shall run for a session in Crawford University. JUPEB-Foundation students are expected to pass the unified examination so as to secure their stay in the Programme.

Candidates applying for admission into any undergraduate programme of Crawford University must possess a minimum of five (5) O’Level Credit passes at not more than two sittings in SSCE, GCE, NECO or their equivalent, which must include Credit passes in English Language and Mathematics while the candidates must in addition satisfy the specific requirements for each programme. Candidates who seek direct entry admission into 200 Level of a degree programme must have any of the following:
- B. Sc degree of a recognized university in a related field.
- Two (2) A’Level passes in the relevant courses acceptable to the University.
- O.N.D upper credit or H.N.D. in relevant courses.
It is mandatory that all candidates seeking admission into Crawford University for 100/200 levels should obtain the prescribed Application forms (in designated offices or online), participate in and satisfy the set standards of Crawford University screening exercise.
